Gouda Cheese Making
A Gouda cheesemaking class can be a fun, rewarding, and enriching experience
Service Description
Gouda cheese is one of the most popular and widely consumed cheeses in the world, originating from the Netherlands. Making Gouda involves a series of carefully controlled steps that transform milk into a semi-hard, flavorful cheese. A Gouda cheesemaking class can be a fun, rewarding, and enriching experience—whether you're a food enthusiast, aspiring artisan, or just curious about where your cheese comes from. Here are some compelling reasons to consider it: Hands on Learning - You’ll get to work directly with milk, cultures, and curds, gaining practical skills that books or videos can’t fully teach. Learn the feel, smell, and texture of each stage of the process. Gain the confidence and knowledge to recreate Gouda in your own kitchen. 30-min break for lunch - BYO lunch. All other equipment supplied. A participant must be a current financial member of Mount Beauty Neighbourhood Centre.
