Our Activities

The Alpine Move Group is a support group that focuses on arthritis self-help, education and awareness and water exercise but is open to all people who are interested in improving their health and mobility through a low impact water exercise program e.g. arthritis, diabetes, and other health conditions.
Must be a current financial member of the Neighbourhood Centre.

The Preserves Group is all about slowing things down, getting hands-on and learning practical skills that bring people together. Whether its making jam, pickling veges or trying fermentation, the group creates a space to share knowledge, reduce food waste and enjoy good company. Monthly from Tuesday 7th July - 10:00am - 2:00pm

The Men’s pizza & darts project is a fortnightly community initiative to be held every 2nd Tuesday from 5:00pm - 6:30pm, for men aged mid 20's +. CLOSED FOR WINTER Come along for a relaxed evening of pizza, darts and great conversation. A fantastic opportunity to connect with other local men, make new friends and enjoy some friendly competition. All welcome! Please call (03) 5754 1166 to register for catering purposes.

This group presently operates with monthly meetings, the last Tuesday of the month, over morning at the Neighbourhood Centre. Direct enquiries and individual support if needed with referrals and information to take away from the resource library, available anytime. Any donations are greatly appreciated for help with pamper days.

Looking for a way to reduce food waste and get fresh produce for free? Join our food swap! Bring your excess veggies, fruits, and plant cuttings to trade with other gardeners and food enthusiasts. Connect with your community, share knowledge, and enjoy fresh, homegrown food.

Date & Time: 3rd Saturday of the month, starting again in September 2023 at 11:00am - 12pm.

Bring along any of your craft that you may be doing at home. Come and try something that someone else is doing and develop a new skill. Meet new people over a cuppa.

Come and join our garden group, grow produce, share tips on how to make the most of your own garden and enjoy a social network. If you want to join and come when you have time, there is the jobs - to - do board in the garden.
