About the event
An executor is the person appointed in a will to carry out the deceased person’s wishes. Their role is to manage the estate by:
Collecting and protecting assets
Paying debts and taxes
Handling legal paperwork
Distributing remaining assets to beneficiaries
In short, the executor makes sure everything in the will is done properly and according to the law.
