Chainsaw Course - 2-3 days: 25, 26 and 27 May 2022 (Postponed until further notice due to no instructor available) Trim & Cut felled trees. One day of theory and 1 practical day • 2 days are required for 1 group, minimum of 6 • 3 days are required for 2 groups, minimum of 10 FWPCOT2239 - Trim and Cut Felled Trees FWPCOT2237 - Maintain Chainsaws Equivalent to level 1 chainsaw operation This course will provide you with knowledge and skills to safely operate and maintain a chainsaw for trimming and cutting fallen trees using a range of cutting techniques. You will learn to identify cross cutting requirements, prepare and maintain equipment, assess trees and plan cutting and trim and cross cut safely and efficiently. Students will need steel-capped boots. (Wodonga TAFE provides all other PPE and equipment.) Payment Options: 1.
