With the Secondary College canteen as one of our recent projects we aim to cater to the students, teachers and parents needs.
TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Mount Beauty Neighbourhood Centre (MBNC) and Wodonga TAFE are excited to partner together to offer local training in smaller communities. Classes will be held at MBNC and trained by local trainers for a more convenient study option for those who cannot travel to Wodonga's campus. All information on the course specifies will be available throuht the representative of MBNC, please contact them today if you would like to know more.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Howeverm if you are hoping to be employed by a REgistered Training Organisation (RTO) as a trainer and assessor, in addition to holding the Certificated IV in Training and Assessment, you will need to have:
Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed.
Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.
We highly recommend that you hold a vocational qualification. If you have any questions regarding this, please contact the department.

Safety On The Road

This is a talk about what you should be doing on the road, road laws change so much and sometimes we ask ourselves what are the current laws. Questions are welcome. Maybe you are worried about how someone you care about is driving on the road. Delivered by certified driving instructor Craig Vine.

Goju Karate Jutsu is an Okinawan self-defense based karate style. Combines hard and soft movements,
based in Kung Fu and Win Chung.

Classes are for adults. Class fees are $2/session.
Yearly subs are $50 (covers ins and admin)

Anxiety support group has run its course for the moment and not meeting. It has been suspended and looking at other ways to support the community through group activities and events. Keep your ear to the ground and watch this space for activities and events in the planning for 2021.

Responsible Service of Alcohol

Be more confident with face to face learning
For a qualification that can really take you places, you can't go past this course which is the industry requirement for anyone involved in the service of alcohol. It will help you develop the skills and knowledge required for the Responsible Service of Alcohol under state legislation. Any person involved with the service of alcohol, be it staff or volunteer, requires this qualification and improves your chances of finding employment in the hospitality sector.

Includes scrapbooking, knitting, cross stitching and anything craft.
The centre has a range of materials for you to utilise to make that special memory shine. Bring along any of your craft that you may be doing at home. Come & try something that someone else is doing and develop a new skill. Meet new people over a cuppa and children friendly.
Cost: $2.00 coin donation for use of equipment and space plus small prices for purchasing materials if needed.

We meet in the Alex McCullough Hall. We have outdoor workshops, provide opportunities for people to improve their skills and we encourage artists to visit other groups and display art work at local art exhibitions.
