Nationally Recognised Training

Mt Beauty Neighbourhood Centre Inc. is a Registered Training Organisation. The scope of registration includes

 

· 21625VIC    Certificate I in Vocational Preparation

· 21571VIC    Course in Introduction to Community and Event                                 Volunteering

· SIT20207    Certificate II in Hospitality

 

But the Centre provides a much wider range of training, including courses that many Members undertake for personal development or self interest.

 

The Neighbourhood Centre is strengthening the links between the different types of training. This approach is building pathways that can help students move from an interest to a vocational qualification or statement. Even where linkages may not be immediately apparent, this can lead to formal recognition of competencies in areas such as team work, communication or problem solving.

 

Statement of Attainment

Increasingly, training is being aligned with nationally accredited units. Subject to successful assessment of a unit, students receive formal recognition for that unit. This also means that they would not have to repeat it as part of a broader qualification they may undertake in future.

 

With other RTO's

MTBNCI also partners with other RTO’s to deliver more nationally recognised qualifications or statements of attainment in Mt Beauty.
